6.5.3 Off-campus water conservation support

Knowledge Sharing on Building Wastewater Treatment Systems and Products
SWU, through the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, organized a collaborative project titled “Knowledge Sharing on Building Wastewater Treatment Systems and Products” on March 28, 2024. The activity was conducted in partnership with Premier Products Public Company Limited, a leading organization specializing in water management systems.

The initiative aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of wastewater treatment technologies and sustainable water management among students, faculty members, and external participants. Through this collaboration, participants learned about innovative wastewater treatment systems applicable to both academic and community contexts, promoting the exchange of knowledge between academia and industry.

This partnership reflects the university’s commitment to supporting off-campus water conservation efforts by promoting the adoption of modern water treatment solutions and extending environmental awareness beyond the campus. The program also encourages the practical application of engineering knowledge to real-world water sustainability challenges, contributing to a stronger network between the university and the private sector in advancing environmental stewardship.
