8.2.2 Employment practice unions
In 2024, Srinakharinwirot University supports the Senate and Staff Council as key mechanisms for communication between employees and university administration. These bodies serve to convey policies, oversee administrative practices, and represent the rights and interests of all university members. They also provide a platform for proposing improvements to staff and faculty welfare and ensuring inclusive participation for all genders, ages, and nationalities.
Missions of the Srinakharinwirot University Council of Faculty and Staff
1. Provide Advice and Recommendations to the University
Offer opinions and suggestions to the University Council and administrators regarding regulations, university development, and policy formulation.
2. Promote Good Governance within the Organization
Foster unity, mutual understanding, and collaboration among faculty and staff. Support the university’s operations under the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance.
3. Promote Ethics, Culture, and the Positive Image of the University
Support activities that enhance institutional culture and strengthen the university’s reputation, ensuring steady and sustainable advancement.
Participation in the anniversary ceremonies of faculties, colleges, institutes, and offices within the university
4. Promote a Learning Community and Knowledge Exchange
Encourage a culture of learning, sharing, and collaboration to support the university in achieving its goals.
