7.4.5 Assistance to low-carbon innovation

SWU actively supports student-led innovation and startup development with a focus on sustainability and low-carbon solutions.

An example is the SWU Start Up: Phase 3 program, which encourages students to develop creative business ideas that contribute to environmental and social sustainability. In this event, the team “Carbon Crunch” from the Faculty of Economics (International Program) — consisting of Mr. Ahmad Hayeemama and Mr. Ratchanon Klinduangmarn, second-year students — won First Prize in the Branding category.

The project reflects the university’s commitment to promoting innovative thinking and supporting startup initiatives that aim to reduce carbon emissions and move toward a low-carbon economy.
