6.4.2 Water reuse measurement
The university has established policies for water reuse. For instance, wastewater flowing into the university's water system undergoes treatment with microorganisms to purify it. This treated water is then used to irrigate trees in areas around the university campus.

Water pumping and tree irrigation around the university campus.

The bar chart titled "Data on Water Pumping for Tree Irrigation" displays the volume of water used (in cubic meters) each month in 2024:
Early Year (January - February): Water usage was at a moderate level, approximately 700 cubic meters per month.
March: Water usage slightly decreased to about 300 cubic meters.
April: This month showed a clear peak in water usage, reaching almost 2,000 cubic meters, indicating the highest demand for water during this period.
May and June: Water usage decreased from April but remained higher than the early months. May saw approximately 900 cubic meters, and June was about 350 cubic meters.
Mid-to-Late Year (July - December): Water usage remained relatively consistent and at a low level, around 150-200 cubic meters per month.
In summary: The chart illustrates that the highest volume of water was pumped for tree irrigation in April 2024, which may correlate with hot and dry weather conditions during that month. Otherwise, the water usage volumes generally align with the trees' needs throughout the different seasons.
