To ensure that the implementation of lifelong learning education at Srinakharinwirot University is conducted systematically, with standardized criteria and consistent practices across the University, by virtue of Section 23(2) of the Srinakharinwirot University Act, B.E. 2559 (2016) and the resolution of the University Council at its 6/2023 meeting on 18 July 2023, the University Council hereby issues the following regulations:
Clause 4
Lifelong learning education refers to educational programs that allow individuals with ability and interest to study specific courses, course sets, or training programs to enhance their knowledge—either with or without credit accumulation.
Learners may choose to enroll in any course, level, or program offered by the University.
Clause 5
Faculty members or program directors responsible for courses or training programs under the lifelong learning scheme shall be responsible for determining the curriculum, instructional methods, and assessment and evaluation processes for each course, course set, or training program.
Clause 6
The implementation of lifelong learning education under this regulation may be carried out in collaboration or agreement with private sector organizations or other educational institutions.
Clause 7
Learners may enroll in courses, course sets, or training programs under this regulation without restriction regarding educational qualifications, gender, age, nationality, occupation, or any other conditions.
Clause 8
Upon completion of the study plan and successful assessment in courses, course sets, or training programs under this lifelong learning scheme, learners shall receive an official transcript, a certificate, or a diploma.
Clause 9
The learning outcomes and academic results obtained from courses, course sets, or training programs under this lifelong learning scheme may be accumulated as credits in the University Credit Bank, in accordance with the Srinakharinwirot University Regulation on the University Credit Bank System,
and may be transferred under the Srinakharinwirot University Regulation on Credit Transfer Criteria and Procedures.
