Vocational Training Events (Lifelong Learning) by Srinakharinwirot University

Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) continuously promotes lifelong learning through a series of vocational and social enterprise training programs. These initiatives aim to enhance knowledge, skills, and social responsibility among entrepreneurs, retired individuals, and professionals, contributing to sustainable development and community empowerment. The programs align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on quality education, decent work, reduced inequalities, and multi-sector partnerships.

CONTRIBUTION

  1.  SWU SE TRAINING: Creating Social Impact Through ESG (SROI 2.07)

This course introduced entrepreneurs and organizational leaders to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, emphasizing sustainable business practices and responsible management. Through workshops and practical training, participants learned to apply ESG frameworks in their operations and develop sustainability reports. A collaborative network among social enterprises, academia, and government agencies was also established.

  1. SWU SE TRAINING: Professional Social Entrepreneurship Training Program (SROI 1.94)

Aimed at emerging and existing social entrepreneurs, this program provided fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience in business planning, marketing, accounting, and social impact measurement. Participants created their own Social Enterprise Business Model Canvas, laying the foundation for sustainable social enterprises and collaborative networks.

  1. SWU SE TRAINING: Tax Pathways for Retired Entrepreneurs (SROI 2.71)

This program was designed to equip retired and elderly entrepreneurs with knowledge of taxation, financial management, and online tax filing. Participants enhanced their confidence and capacity to manage small-scale businesses transparently and legally. The program also fostered a network of empowered senior entrepreneurs contributing to local economic development.

4. The SWU SE TRAINING Program on the topic “Developing and Preparing to Become a Professional Social Enterprise Entrepreneur”

The Faculty of Social Business Administration, Srinakharinwirot University, invites general business groups and social enterprises to participate in the SWU SE TRAINING Program on the topic “Developing and Preparing to Become a Professional Social Enterprise Entrepreneur.”

The program aims to provide participants — including general businesses and social enterprises interested in transitioning into social enterprises — with knowledge and understanding of social enterprise operations. The training also includes sessions on business registration, funding application procedures, and business plan development, enabling participants to gain a clear perspective of their own businesses and operate them systematically.
