4.3.1 Public resources (lifelong learning)

In 2024, Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) launched the SWU Life Long Learning Platform to promote lifelong learning for people of all ages. This initiative supports SDG 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

The SWU Life Long Learning Platform serves as an open public learning resource, allowing individuals outside the university — including community members, working adults, and senior learners — to freely access various online and on-site learning programs. It opens a new era of education where anyone can learn anytime and anywhere, increasing access to new knowledge and skill development opportunities.

Learners can accumulate learning units in the form of a credit bank, offering flexibility for study and work simultaneously. Through online courses, classroom learning, and practical experiences, participants can enhance their competencies and prepare for emerging career opportunities in the future.

This platform demonstrates SWU’s commitment to providing inclusive and accessible education resources for the public, fostering lifelong learning beyond traditional degree programs.
