Impact on Organizers

The organizing team gained valuable experience in developing innovative and socially responsive programs that align with the evolving needs of university welfare and student rights. The project enhanced their capacity to design engaging activities that encourage student, faculty, and staff participation, while deepening awareness of physical and mental health rights and the importance of holistic well-being.

Impact on Participants

Students reported an improved understanding of the interconnection between physical, mental, and reproductive health. They gained accurate knowledge about the university’s welfare policies, particularly the free sanitary pad and condom program. Health education booths, product giveaways, and expert-led discussions (with help from partners like SWU SMILE and Buddy Thai) were some of the interactive activities that helped students develop healthier habits and better self-care skills.

Impact on Community and Society

The initiative promoted wider awareness of key social and health issues, both within and beyond the university. It highlighted ongoing public discussions around menstrual equity, mental health, and youth well-being, encouraging proactive health behaviors and open dialogue. The program also provided practical guidance on topics such as exercising in limited spaces, managing mental stress, and recognizing early signs of mental health concerns. Through these exchanges between experts and participants, the program contributed to a more health-conscious and empathetic university community.

Overall Contribution to SDGs:

  • Supports SDG 3.3.4 by ensuring equitable access to reproductive health education and services.

  • Advances SDG 3.3.5 by promoting mental health awareness, early intervention, and peer learning.
