16.3.3 Participation in government research

In 2024, Srinakharinwirot University undertook multiple policy-focused research projects in direct collaboration with government departments. Faculty members and researchers contributed to policymaking and program development across diverse areas, with projects coordinated through the Center for Academic Services, Srinakharinwirot University (CAS-SWU), and the Strategic Wisdom and Research Institute, Srinakharinwirot University (SWRI-SWU). These projects can be categorized into three broad domains: (1) Social Development and Well-being, (2) Economic and Infrastructure Development, and (3) Governance, Law, and Regional Cooperation.

 

1) Social Development and Well-being (SDG 3, 4, 10, 16)

  Government research participation emphasizes the active role of faculty members and researchers in integrating knowledge to address problems, improve quality of life, and foster environments conducive to people’s well-being. Most of this work has been applied in policy development and further translated into tangible outcomes.
