16.3.1 Provide expert advice to government

Providing Advice to Government Agencies

In 2024, Srinakharinwirot University provided expert advice to government at local, regional, and national levels through policy guidance, participation in formal committees and working groups, and the provision of research-based evidence. Academic staff support government agencies by offering specialist consultation, conducting commissioned and collaborative research, and delivering academic services that inform policy design, implementation, and evaluation. These activities help strengthen the effectiveness of state policy-driven management and contribute directly to social development.

National level

  • Associate Professor Dr. Chonlawit Chianchit has been appointed as a member of the Sub-Committee on Monitoring, Recommendation, and Acceleration of National Reform in Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.

  • Associate Professor Poom Moolsilpa has been appointed as an advisor to the Committee on International Affairs, the Lawyers Council of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, and as a subcommittee member for studying data and statistics on politically motivated crimes, House of Representatives.

  • Assistant Professor Kittikoon Rungruang has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Promoting Transparency and Integrity in Society by the Anti-Corruption Foundation.

Regional level

  • Associate Professor Dr. Saichon Panyachit has been appointed as a member of the Central Executive Committee for Driving the 'Wat Pracha Rat Sang Suk' Project in the Central Region.


Local level

  • Lecturer Teepapipat Lertvarayut has been appointed as a member of the Subcommittee on Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment of Nakhon Nayok Province at the local level in Thailand.


Together, these engagements demonstrate the university’s ongoing commitment to serving as a trusted knowledge partner for the public sector and to advancing society through evidence-informed policymaking.
