13.3.4 Inform and support government
Srinakharinwirot University actively informs and supports government and city-level climate action. In 2025, the University was invited to contribute to Bangkok Climate Action Week 2025 (BKKCAW2025), a major platform for climate policy dialogue and public–government engagement held at Benjakitti Park. On the main stage, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phumi Moolsilp, Vice President for Organisational Development and Special Affairs, delivered a spotlight talk on “Tools of Change”, presenting SWU’s “Green University” approach as a model for climate transition. The talk emphasised developing graduates with green awareness, skills for green jobs and responsible green consumer behaviour through curricula and experiential learning, positioning universities as key change-makers that can support government efforts toward a low-carbon and climate-resilient society. This high-level contribution demonstrates how SWU shares expertise and strategic perspectives with government and stakeholders to guide climate policy and action.
