13.2.2 Low-carbon energy use

In the reporting year, Srinakharinwirot University used a total of 178,920 gigajoules (GJ) of energy. Of this, approximately 112.51 GJ was supplied from low-carbon energy sources, equivalent to about 0.06% of the University’s total energy consumption. Although the current share of low-carbon energy in the overall energy mix is still relatively small, this quantified baseline demonstrates that SWU has begun to integrate cleaner energy sources and provides a clear starting point for planning future expansion of low-carbon supply and for tracking reductions in campus greenhouse gas emissions over time.
