11.2.2 Public access to libraries

The Central Library of Srinakharinwirot University offers free access to its library space for the general public, students, and learners from other educational institutions. This initiative aims to promote lifelong learning and create equal opportunities for accessing knowledge resources. The project reflects the university's mission as a "University for Society," emphasizing open education and academic services to the public.

External individuals can utilize the reading areas within the library free of charge and can also access the personal wireless internet network (Wi-Fi) for educational research. However, to maintain order and the security of information resources, the Central Library does not permit borrowing books outside the library and does not allow the use of the space for commercial purposes. This endeavor is part of creating an equitable and inclusive learning environment, especially for students, learners, the public in the surrounding university area, and other interested individuals.
