10.6.2 Access to university track underrepresented groups applications
Srinakharinwirot University systematically monitors and tracks application and admission trends annually, including for potentially underrepresented and equity-focus groups. The University maintains a centralised admissions reporting dashboard which records applicants and admitted students for each academic year and enables year-by-year tracking and analysis to ensure equal access opportunities. In 2024, SWU recorded 100,272 applicants and 8,399 admitted students, representing 7.7% of total applicants. The University uses this dataset and application pipeline monitoring to support inclusive admissions practices and to identify access gaps for groups such as ethnic minorities, low-income students, non-traditional students, women, LGBT students, disabled students, and other underrepresented groups.
