10.6.1 Non-discriminatory admissions policy
Srinakharinwirot University Policy on Equality, Equity, and Fairness in Human Resource Management
Srinakharinwirot university is a higher education institution dedicated to academic and professional excellence and serves as a center for learning for society. The University’s mission is to develop individuals with quality and integrity for the benefit of society; to create research and innovations that are valuable and sustainable; to provide high-quality academic services; to promote social responsibility and awareness; to preserve arts and culture; and to develop an efficient administrative system grounded in the principles of good governance.
Recognizing the importance of social and environmental harmony in the workplace—where growth and progress are achieved when all members understand, trust, and respect one another—the University upholds human rights, equality, and diversity. To ensure that all personnel work together in unity, Srinakharinwirot university has established this policy and its operational guidelines based on respect for human rights and the principles of equality, with a firm commitment to promoting equity, fairness, and coexistence in an inclusive and non-discriminatory work environment.
No person shall be denied or restricted in their rights or benefits, whether directly or indirectly, on the basis of race, nationality, age, color, religion or belief, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or socioeconomic background.
Accordingly, the university has set forth the following guidelines for all personnel:
(1) To be aware of and recognize the importance and value of equality and diversity among individuals, as the foundation of fairness.
(2) To treat one another with respect and dignity, without discrimination, and to work together in equality and full participation.
(3) To ensure equality and fairness in all employment processes, including recruitment and selection, performance evaluation, training and development, career advancement, benefits, welfare, and all related matters.
(4) To uphold lawful and fair employment practices, prohibiting forced labor, slavery, child labor, human trafficking, and any form of physical or mental abuse.
(5) To ensure that outsourced employees are treated equitably and fairly, receive appropriate compensation from their employers without discrimination, and that recruitment and selection of outsourced service providers are conducted fairly, transparently, and verifiably.
(6) To allow individuals of all genders, including those with diverse gender identities, to dress appropriately and respectfully in the workplace, without being restricted to attire based on biological sex.
(7) To cooperate in preventing and addressing incidents of sexual harassment in the workplace in order to foster a safe and positive working environment.
This policy shall take effect from the date of this announcement onward.
