1.3.5 Low or lower-middle income countries student support

The university actively participates in and supports initiatives aimed at providing educational opportunities for students from low or lower-middle income countries. A prime example is its involvement in The Royal Assistance Project To The Kingdom Of Cambodia Under The Royal Initiative Of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

The Royal Assistance Project To The Kingdom Of Cambodia (Academic Year 2024)

On June 27, 2024, an orientation event was held to welcome students participating in The Royal Assistance Project to the Kingdom of Cambodia. For the Academic Year 2024, Srinakharinwirot University is providing care and support for six scholarship students under this Royal initiative:

  • Three students at the undergraduate level.

  • Three students at the postgraduate level.

This project stems from the royal initiative to grant scholarships to students from the Kingdom of Cambodia. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's profound benevolence and foresight underscore her dedication to fostering strong bilateral relations between Thailand and Cambodia, as well as her commitment to developing a high-quality education system for Cambodian youth. Srinakharinwirot University is honored to play a part in fulfilling this significant royal endeavor by welcoming and educating these scholarship recipients.
