Through the academic programs offered at both the undergraduate and master's levels—most notably the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Program in Environmental Technology and Resources—graduates have successfully secured employment in the environmental and sustainability sectors within internationally recognized organizations, both domestically and internationally. Based on the latest graduate employment survey data collected in 2025, the detailed breakdown of their professional placements is illustrated in Graph A.

  • Ministries and Departments: Pollution Control Department (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment), Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP), Regional Environmental and Pollution Control Office 6 (REPCO 6), Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Community Development Department, Ministry of Public Health, Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), and the Department of Science Service (DSS).

Based on the alumni survey data from both the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) programs in Environmental Technology and Resources, it was highlighted that Miss Wittanan Thammadit has been awarded a prestigious doctoral scholarship (Ph.D. in Climate Change) by the Chinese Government. She is currently pursuing her studies under the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) at the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) in Yunnan Province, People’s Republic of China.

This outstanding achievement is built upon an active Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The partnership encompasses student exchange programs for academic training, joint research initiatives, international academic publications, the co-hosting of international conferences, and the continuous provision of educational scholarships for university students and personnel. Ultimately, this collaborative effort aims to develop human resources equipped with a profound understanding of environmental and climate change issues, while actively seeking effective mitigation strategies to address the imminent impacts of climate change.


Strengthening the Tropical Botany Research Network through Collaboration with Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden

Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) welcomed representatives from the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden.

The meeting was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Prapaporn Rojsiriruch, Vice President for International Relations and Communications,Prof. Dr.Parin Chaivisuthangkura, Vice President for Research and Innovation, together with university executives and faculty deans, to discuss potential academic collaboration.

The event took place on September 5, 2025, at the 22nd Floor Conference Room, Prof. Dr. Saroj Buasri Innovation Building, SWU Prasarnmit Campus.




SWU Strengthens Thai–Chinese Cooperation with MoU Signing Ceremony Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) paid an official visit to the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG), under the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, in Yunnan Province, People’s Republic of China. The visit, hosted by XTBG, included an MoU Signing Ceremony to formally enhance academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The delegation was led by Associate Professor Dr. Cholvit Jearajit, President of Srinakharinwirot University, together with the university’s executive team. They were warmly welcomed by Professor FAN Zexin, Ph.D., Deputy Director of XTBG, along with XTBG’s management team and staff. Discussions under the cooperation framework focused on key areas, including: 1️⃣ Student exchange in training programs, research activities, and international research publications 2️⃣ Joint organization of international conferences between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China 3️⃣ Scholarships and short-term training grants for students, faculty members, researchers, and staff of both institutions, aimed at the sustainable development of human resources ✨ This collaboration marks an important milestone in strengthening international networks in education, science, and research between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China.
