SI 3.1 Coverage of Medical Check-ups with Counseling Services

SWU provides comprehensive medical check-ups for students, staff, and community members through annual age-based health screening programs organised by the Student Affairs Division. The screening service is offered free of charge for all individuals aged 15 and above and is accessible on a walk-in basis, ensuring inclusive access for different groups within the University.

The programme includes physical examinations, age-specific health assessments, health-risk identification, and on-site counseling from healthcare professionals. Participants receive personalised feedback, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals to partner hospitals or specialist clinics when further evaluation is required.

In the 2024–2025 cycle, a total of 3,240 staff members received annual medical check-ups with counseling, out of 6,361 total university personnel, representing 50.94% coverage. This places SWU within the “51–75% of personnel” achievement level for SI 3.1, demonstrating broad access to medical check-up services and health counseling across the University workforce, while demonstrating that the University maintains a formal, structured, and recurring health-check system accessible to all staff categories.

In addition, SWU actively promotes participation through campus-wide announcements. For the Annual Medical Check-up Programme 2025, the University invited personnel, students, and community members to attend the screening event held on 2 and 4 July 2568, from 07.30–12.00 hrs at the 1st Floor, Asok Montri Innovation Building (Professor Dr. Saroj Bua Sri Building).
