Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) provides regular sport and physical-activity events that are open to students from all 22 faculties and colleges, encouraging an active lifestyle and holistic well-being across the University. These events are organised at the institutional level and hosted in central campus locations, ensuring that students from different academic programmes can easily participate in exercise and movement-based activities.
A key example is the ASOK Model – Integrated Development for Holistic Well-Being Management Project, which organises ongoing yoga for health, aerobic sessions, and other group exercise activities on a weekly basis. Activities such as yoga, sound-healing sessions, and outdoor movement programmes are held in shared university spaces and explicitly invite “all interested participants,” including students and staff from every faculty, thereby providing university-wide access to regular physical activity.
In addition, SWU operates a dedicated Student Volunteer Center, which coordinates a rich calendar of student-led activities that actively engage participants from multiple faculties and promote both physical activity and mental well-being. Examples include:
“SWU’s Love Destiny” New Year event, which combines celebration with movement-based and community-building activities.
Health and well-being events such as Brain Gym sessions to relax the mind and enhance mental well-being.
The “Rukkhakorn Volunteer Arborist” project, where student volunteers engage in hands-on urban tree care as an innovative form of active environmental stewardship.
Recycle and Global Recycling Day (18 March) activities, and the “SWU Save the World” campaign, which encourage active participation in sustainability and physical engagement in environmental actions.
The SLOPE (Student Leadership and Organizational Performance Excellence) programme, which incorporates interactive, activity-based learning and team-building.

Because these sport, movement, and active volunteer events are open to and attended by students from across the 22 faculties and colleges, SWU can reasonably be considered to have 22 out of 22 faculties/institutes (100%) covered by access to sport and physical-activity events. This meets the highest achievement tier for HP 4.2, and demonstrates a strong institutional commitment to promoting regular physical activity and active citizenship throughout the University.
