HP 2.1 Coverage of Stress Reduction Programs

Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) provides structured stress-reduction support across all 22 faculties and colleges, combining formal mental-health services with faculty-based advisory systems. In addition to central services such as counseling and psychological support, students in every faculty can consult their academic advisors when experiencing stress or emotional difficulties, ensuring that first-line mental-health support is embedded within the academic structure.

This means that 22 out of 22 faculties/colleges (100% coverage) have accessible mechanisms for stress management and mental-well-being support through academic advisors, complemented by specialised units such as the Behavioral Science Research Institute (BSRI) and the Student Affairs Division. Together, these systems demonstrate SWU’s strong commitment to comprehensive mental-health support and integrated strategies for reducing stress among students and staff.
